Equity Series: “Childhood in Context”

The fourth and final workshop focusing on equity, inclusion, diversity, and belonging in your early childhood classrooms.  This workshop, featuring Dr. Stacy Yvonne French-Lee, will include a focus on the conflicting conception of childhood in ECE through examining multiple definitions and how they align with children’s realities. Dr. French Lee is an early childhood advocate and professor for Georgia State University. She utilizes critical frameworks to ensure equitable education for marginalized children, her research includes race, class, and gender intersections in African American boys’ education.

You will receive 2 COK hours.
