Participants will explore reasons for behavior. Participants will learn how observation can help determine the function of a behavior. Preventative strategies will be shared to implement in the classroom.

November 15, 2018 (6:30-8:30 pm) Establishing a Positive Approach to Address Challenging Behaviors: Part 1
This interactive training is a comprehensive look at positive ways to approach challenging behaviors in the classroom. Part 1 explores the attitudes and strategies necessary to create a positive environment for children.

December 13, 2018 (6:30-8:30 pm) Establishing a Positive Approach to Address Challenging Behaviors: Part 2 

Part 2 explores steps teachers should follow to create effective behavior plans.  Participants will leave this training with several strategies they can choose to implement immediately in their educational setting.

Both parts must be taken to successfully complete the course and receive a training certificate.
