The Importance of Executive Function and Self Regulation

Executive functioning and self regulation help children be successful within their environments. Children are born with the capacity to learn and utilize these skills. Participants will learn about why these skills are important, what deficits in these areas look like, and strategies to help build them.
Core of Knowledge Area: Child Development (2 hours)
