Family Education

Project ACT provides supports to parents and caregivers to support their knowledge and skill development. Free virtual workshops are available on a regular basis and open to all families of young children. Ongoing skill development as part of a workshop series is also available to families who want a deeper understanding of parent-child relationships and behavior. Project ACT can also conduct in-person or virtual workshops for individual programs and organizations. Sign up for our monthly Raising Resilience email for resources and updates.

Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health and Behavior Consultation (IECMHC)

Project ACT provides free coaching and consultation in early childhood settings across Baltimore, Harford and Cecil Counties to support the success of individual children age birth to five. Early childhood professionals and families work with Project ACT specialists to develop individualized plans to meet the needs of children with disabilities, developmental delays, or behavior concerns. Consultation services increase the use of inclusive and trauma-informed practices, and reduce suspensions and expulsions.

IFSP/IEP Support

Project ACT can provide support to families engaged in the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) or Individualized Education Program (IEP) process for their children ages birth-8. Experienced staff can assist in reviewing evaluation reports and IFSP or IEP documents and discussing behavior intervention plans, for the purposes of maintaining or increasing access to the general education classroom or least restrictive environment. This is a fee based service for families unless they participate in our IECMH Consultation services. Contact us to learn more.
